| What can I expect if I attend Camp Cadet? |
| |
Camp Cadet is "basic training" for citizens of good character. The "basics" demand a sense of responsibility and respect. Beginning
with reveille and flag-raising at 5:30 a.m. until flag-lowering at sunset, with lights out at 10:00 p.m., a rigid schedule of events
will influence the activities during the week. Cadets will function as a unit; they sleep, eat, march, learn and play together. Camp is
not all work; however, each day’s events include ample recreation time as well. Cadets will experience the intangibles of working together
as a group while also gaining a respect for the value of regimentation and personal perseverance.
